This kettle heats up fast and I like the fact that I can see if it's dirty or not unlike the dark steel kettle I had before. The kids enjoy watching it heat up and whistle. Good price too!

Great little kettle! I love it that it's glass and you could see the water you put in. After our last kettle rusted and began leaking, we opted for a glass one that would not rust.

Before this tea kettle, I had never used glass on a stove before. I really like this little kettle. It has been serving me well over the last year and a half. I use it on a gas stove at about medium heat so the handle rarely becomes too hot. Not only is it used for heating water for tea or coffee, but by taking the top off, I can also use it as a humidifier for my kitchen and living room. The drawbacks are 1) I hate the whistle. 2) I wish it were prettier. 3) I don't like the white lettering on the outside. But, it heats well, and pours without spattering and cleans up very easily. I am in the market for a prettier looking tea kettle but, I would definately continue using this is the winter as a humidifier.

I use this kettle in our cafe for water for tea. It's used 3 or 4 times everyday and has worked great. The whistle is not obnoxious like other kettles. I purchased one for home use as well and I am just as sastisfied.

I am a daily tea drinker, and it is important for me to have clean, good water for my tea. I often drink white and green tea. I have used other kettles, but after awhile you can never get them clean. The glass kettle is perfect. And I really like being able to see the water in the kettle. It does take longer to heat up the water, because I use a smaller flame than I did with my other kettles, but I don't find this to be a problem. I highly recommend this kettle, especially for the price.
